Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure production requirements are met and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Maintain positive employee relations and a safe, clean work environment.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate manufacturing activities to achieve management goals.
• Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently.
• Provide coaching and apply employee relation policies consistently.
• Requisition operating personnel to meet established goals.
• Facilitate employee team operations and maintain accurate training data.
• Review and coach employees in accordance with plant goals.
• Administer production salary/wage policy for operating personnel.
• Enforce health, environmental, and safety standards, work practices, and housekeeping policies.
• Arrange for proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Report daily indicators, including production scrap and production per hour.
• Investigate material variances, report results, and recommend improvements.
• Solicit and encourage process, procedure, and equipment improvements from team members.
• Audit standard work practices and review them regularly through team meetings.
• Coordinate workflow with the Production Control department.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent knowledge and experience.
