PURPOSE OF POSITIONProduce defined quantity of parts and components according to company and customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMore specifically, the employee owner will:
- Ensure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
- Jig, assemble, and weld parts and components.
- Operate a wire welder; follow specifications in regards to weld penetrations, appearance, and quantity.
- Operate various hand tools and machinery to meet expectations on quality, including but not limited to lathe, grinder, and torch.
- Grind, clean, and/or bevel fit-up of welds where required.
- Use and understand various paperwork (e.g., schedules, prints, technical specifications, etc.).
- Request and/or gather raw materials, parts, and components necessary to complete task.
- Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
- Perform general housekeeping and maintenance within the work area.
- Regular, consistent attendance.

- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PPI Weld Certification but not required.
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
