Position OverviewWe are seeking Welders for our Riceville, IA production facility. Starting pay is $21 – $28.34 per hour, based on experience.
Location:
Riceville, IA.
- Heat and form metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, plasma cutter/carbon arc or other welding equipment.
- Properly position material and parts to be welded.
- Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place and adjust welding current to proper configurations.
- Accurately operate and read measuring devices.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and 6S standards.
- Train and work in various areas of production to meet production demands.
- Passed a weld test either through a pre‑employment test or an internal weld program.
- Ability to start and run a welder.
- Effectively perform tasks within one station with little to no quality defects or guidance.
- Willingness to learn and adjust your own wire settings.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of applicable position experience.
- Understanding of quality defects within weld‑on products.
- Ability to read and use measuring devices.
