ResponsibilitiesStarting pay: $19.00 per hour. Night shift $2.25 shift differential. Sign‑on bonus at 90 days: $600. 11 paid holidays.
- Follow all Amcor safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Follow OSHA rules and regulations
- Monitor quality of product; inspect bottles for defects, inspect boxes for damage and follow customer pack patterns
- Communicate and cooperate with other employees to achieve departmental goals
- Properly seal, label and stack cartons of finished product
- Palletize boxes up to 35 pounds, operate pallet jack as required, and train accordingly
- Handle hand packing of bottles as per written instructions
- Operate packing equipment at entry level
- Clear product jams as needed and trained
- Maintain packaging supplies and labels in production area
- Perform janitorial work: sweep, clean and wipe down machinery; keep area orderly
- Adhere to GMP guidelines; wear protective clothing and maintain good hygiene
- Lift boxes up to 35 lbs consistently
- Maintain cart and skid counts on production form for each assigned machine
- Verify correct weight and counts
- Stand up to 12 hours a day packing bottles in cartons
- Construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons
- Sort held ware correctly
- Work overtime when needed
- Identify and report violations and unsafe conditions
- Respond in emergency situations such as fire and accident, directing others
- Follow all department procedures and directives
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Must have the ability to multi‑task
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to monitor quality of machine output
- Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds
- Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Manufacturing experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
