Job Description Overview:

Starting pay at $19.00 per hour. Night shift gets a $2.25 shift differential. Sign‑on Bonus at 90 days of $600! 11 paid Holidays.
Responsibilities- Follow all Amcor safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Follow OSHA rules and regulations
- Monitor quality of product; inspect bottles for defects, inspect boxes for damage and properly follow customer pack patterns
- Communicate and cooperate with other employees in a positive and constructive manner to achieve the goals of the department and the plant
- Properly seal, label and stack cartons of finished product
- Palletize boxes weighing up to 35 lbs, band/unify pallet loads, move pallets to staging area, operate pallet jack as required and trained
- Hand‑pack bottles according to written instructions
- Basic entry level operation of packing equipment
- Clear product jams as needed and trained
- Ensure needed packaging supplies and labels are in production area
- Perform janitorial work; sweep, clean and wipe down machinery, maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines; wear protective clothing, long‑sleeved shirt, jeans or slacks, hair net, latex gloves and practice good hygiene
- Consistently lift boxes that weigh 35 lbs
- Maintain correct carton and skid count on production form for each assigned machine
- Verify correct weight and counts
- Stand for up to 12 hours a day packing bottles in cartons
- Construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons
- Sort held ware correctly
- Willing and able to work overtime when needed
- Identify and report violations and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel
- Effectively respond in an emergency situation such as fire, accident and direct the activities of others
- Follow all department procedures and directives
- All other duties as assigned
- Must have the ability to multi‑task
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to monitor quality of machine output
- Capable of lifting (up to 35 pounds)
- Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms
- Must be able to follow all department procedures and directives
- Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner
- Manufacturing experience
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
