Pay: $25.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift, 5 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday-Thursday. Overtime possible)

Fabricator:
This position will machine parts on CNC machine tools designed to turn, drill, bore, and/or mill production material and operate lasers and brake presses in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

• Turn, drill, bore, and/or mill parts to specification using CNC machining tools and processes.
• Operate one or more CNC machines to complete an operation.
• Operate a laser to cut piece parts from sheet steel.
• Operate various brake presses to bend parts to print.
• Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
• Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
• Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections.
• Use various types of CNC machine tools, material handling equipment, jigs, fixtures, measuring gages and instruments, and other applicable hand and power tools.
• Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Complete daily and weekly housekeeping and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

This Job Might Be an Outstanding Fit If You:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have one of the following:
  High School Diploma or G.E.D., National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), or at least 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
• Can successfully complete a Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) test before placement.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including possible weekends)

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNC certification (or equivalent) or at least 1 year CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• One year manufacturing experience with lasers or brake presses
