Now Hiring – Production Supervisor Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for an exciting opportunity with a manufacturing client in Allison, IA. The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing first-line direction to non-exempt production employees and working closely with front-line teams to achieve daily production goals. This position reviews production schedules, material requirements, and manpower resources while assigning employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, and meet output requirements.
We are seeking candidates with solid supervisory experience, preferably within a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial coating environment. Candidates must have the flexibility to work off-shift hours, overtime, and weekends as needed based on business requirements.

Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost, waste targets, and quality standards. Monitor the volume and quality of production output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment setup, or inputs to ensure production specifications are met and resources are used efficiently. Communicate production and material issues to assigned employees and coordinate with support teams to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
Participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes to materials, equipment, and procedures. Maintain reports, records, and production documentation related to schedules, performance, and operating methods. Supervise staff to ensure production tasks are completed and all machines and equipment are operated safely. Train new employees on organizational operating procedures, processes, and standards. Demonstrate proficiency with required machinery and equipment and resolve most downtime issues related to machinery and equipment maintenance.
Maintain flexibility to work off-shift hours, overtime, and weekends based on business needs.
