Lead Operations, Drive Quality, and Champion Safety!

As the Production Supervisor II, you’ll play a key role in leading and optimizing production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. You’ll assign operators to align with production schedules, oversee critical processes such as material preparation, blending, pelleting, and assembly, and maintain high standards of quality control and compliance. In this role, you’ll champion safety by training team members on hazardous waste handling and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.

You’ll also foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, maintaining discipline, and upholding excellent housekeeping standards. Your technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and knowledge of ISO Quality Systems will drive continuous improvement across operations. Candidates should bring strong analytical abilities, leadership experience in a production setting, and a collaborative attitude to help our team succeed.

As the Production Supervisor, here's the impactful work you'll do:

  • Assign production operators effectively to specific jobs, ensuring alignment with production or workload schedules to maximize output.
  • Direct various production processes, including the preparation, screening, and blending of inert materials, pelleting, and assembly for explosive preparation, ensuring each phase is executed with precision.
  • Monitor the quality of production meticulously, ensuring the proper use of tools, equipment, and materials to uphold our high standards.
  • Provide comprehensive safety training to subordinates, particularly regarding hazardous waste handling, ensuring compliance with pertinent safety regulations at all times.
  • Establish and foster a positive employee morale while maintaining discipline within the team, coordinating with senior management when necessary to address concerns.
  • Promote and maintain exemplary housekeeping standards throughout production areas to ensure both safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of assigned production processes, equipment, and materials to facilitate informed decision‑making and troubleshooting.
And If You Have These Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • Associate’s Degree (AA) or higher Preferred
  • 2+ years related experience Required
  • Must possess a valid REAL ‑compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner OR current passport, indicating it is federally compliant.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidate.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680 - $92,520
. Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
