Role Overview
As a Plant Technician, you will support manufacturing operations by operating high-speed equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and controlling processes via computer systems. You will work on a team responsible for maintaining production flow, meeting quality standards, and achieving performance goals.
Responsibilities Include- Running and maintaining automated equipment
- Controlling manufacturing processes
- Keeping accurate records and data
- Operating material handling tools like forklifts
- Participating in safety, quality assurance, and maintenance activities
- Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Experience operating and maintaining automated machinery
- Strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, work around high-speed equipment, and handle tools
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime
Starting pay is $26.72 per hour. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with safety as a priority, and offers mentorship and growth opportunities. Relocation is typically not covered. The work schedule includes shifts of 8-12 hours, with rotation flexibility.
