Machine Operative

Know How Resourcing is recruiting a Machine Operative to join our client in Thornbury, operating an AMD Notching Machine. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys hands‑on work, and is keen to learn new skills.

Mon‑Fri 06:00 - 14:30

• Operating and programming the AMD Notching Machine
• Loading timber safely and efficiently
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet our standards
• Monitoring machine performance and identifying any issues quickly
• Working to production targets while maintaining high quality
• Following all health and safety procedures

• A mechanically minded individual with good practical skills
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good attention to detail and quality
• The ability to recognise when equipment isn't operating correctly and respond appropriately
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Previous experience operating machinery or within a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential

• Full training from an experienced operator
