CNC Saw Operator

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a CNC Saw Operator to join their team. As a CNC Saw Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Saw Operator

Location: Albia, IA

Pay Range: $18.00

Shift:
1st - 6AM-4:30PM Mon - Thurs, OT on Fridays
2nd - 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Mon - Thurs, OT on Fridays

What's the Job?

• Plans machining by studying work orders and fabrication drawings
• Understands quality requirements from customer prints and fabrication drawings to ensure a high-quality product
• Prepares stock inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and placing orders
• Programs mills by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements
• Sets up mills by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, and verifying settings through measurements

What's Needed?

• Experience with CNC machining and programming
• Knowledge of basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Ability to read technical drawings and work orders
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
• Good communication and documentation skills
