About the Role:Are you a hands‑on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and enjoys developing people, driving operational excellence, and improving processes? We're looking for an Assistant Plant Manager to support daily plant operations and help ensure the safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of our products.
In this role, you will work closely with the Plant Manager to oversee manufacturing operations, support employee development, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure production goals are achieved. The Assistant Plant Manager plays a vital role in fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:- Direct and coordinate production, processing, and distribution activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and coaching to supervisors and other assigned leadership personnel to build high-performing teams.
- Champion LEAN Manufacturing, Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM), and ISO initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, product quality, and efficiency.
- Analyze operational data, optimize staffing and resources, resolve production issues, and collaborate across departments to meet company goals.
- Demonstrates a commitment to servant leadership by developing people, supporting teams, and driving results through influence and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze operational challenges, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions that support business objectives.
- Effectively communicates across all organizational levels, maintains accurate documentation, and develops talent through coaching and training.
- At least five years of related work experience
- Continuing education as made available and/or required by Rosenboom
