JOB SUMMARY

The Painter is responsible for all activities relating to the color application of all molds in accordance with the company’s policy on quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Wears assigned PPE in order to safely perform all job tasks
• Wears steel-toed boot for the duration of work shift
• Maintains a professional and positive attitude
• Reports any and all injuries to respective supervisor(s)
• Performs general housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean and safe work area
• Attends company sponsored training when necessary
• Reports to work daily and on time unless otherwise excused
• Clean dried over pour from inside and tops of molds to prevent possible defect and stacking issues
• Reports issues which may result in poor quality to Production Supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to receive and carry out instructions given by management
• Ability to model desired behavior and conduct for all employees
• Must be safe minded and alert during times of operation
• Demonstrated traits of honesty and integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
• Must have enough near/far/depth and color perception to satisfactorily paint mold
• Must understand written formulas for painting

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

• No minimum education requirement
• No prior experience or training required

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Prolong standing or in stationary position
• Complete repetitive movements such as typing
• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
• Complete repetitive movements
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders
• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
