Machinist; 2nd Shift

SEKISUI Aerospace is currently hiring production team members in a variety of departments for our Orange City, IA location, including layup, assembly, machining, and finishing. Full Time, Non-Exempt

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM- 1:30 AM Monday-Thursday

As a machinist, you will process composite parts with CNC or Autoclave machines.

• Machining carbon fiber parts on NCN machines, water jet cutters or Autoclaves.
• Setting up machines for a variety of different parts.
• Blueprint reading.
• Routine maintenance of machines.
• Completing secondary operations.
• First part checks and/or OSV inspections

• Attention to detail
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and quick learner.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to team lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to operator forklift or be trained on one.
