That's not a typo. At PVS Metals, our weekend shift laser operators work Friday through Sunday - 36 hours - and get paid for a full 40
. You'll own your machine, run clean cuts, and keep your entire week free from Monday through Thursday.

If you're detail-oriented, technically sharp, and take pride in accurate cuts every time - we want to talk.

• Hours: Friday-Sunday, 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Paid hours: 40 hrs/week - even though you only work 36
• Four weekdays off - Monday through Thursday are yours

• Oversee all laser cutting operations and maintenance during your shift - you're the expert on your machine
• Perform daily tasks including checking and replacing filters and cylinders to keep equipment running at peak performance
• Troubleshoot production issues promptly - from bad cuts to tech table problems - and resolve them efficiently
• Identify and gauge various materials using mic readings and color codes
• Maintain equipment in top shape; report any issues with tools and nozzles immediately
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Communicate clearly during shift transitions to keep operations running smoothly
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Work collaboratively with other operators and train new team members as needed
• Follow all ISO standards and company procedures on every job

• Proven experience operating and maintaining laser cutting equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve production issues quickly and independently
• Strong eye for detail - you catch problems before they become defects
• Ability to identify materials using mic readings and color codes
• Knowledge of ISO standards and company procedures
• Strong communication skills for effective shift handoffs and team coordination
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement
• Reliable, safety-focused, and a genuine team player
• Willingness to train and support less experienced operators
• Available and committed to a consistent Friday-Sunday schedule

• $21-$24/hr depending on experience
