Miller Operator | Night Shift | 4 On / 4 Off
Location: St. Ansgar, IA
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Four Days On / Four Days Off
Job Type: Full-Time | Occasional Overtime
Keep Production Moving in a Fast-Paced Milling OperationExpress Employment Professionals is hiring a Miller Operator for a well-established grain milling facility in St. Ansgar. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating industrial equipment, and being part of a team focused on quality, safety, and efficiency in food production.
What You’ll Do- Operate oat cleaning, dehulling, grading, blending, and delivery systems
- Run kiln conditioning, finishing, cutting, and product transport systems
- Monitor production, quality, and yield checkpoints
- Communicate with mill operators, receiving, and office staff on inventory and production needs
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and scheduled operational cleaning
- Maintain food safety, GMP, and quality standards at all times
- Participate in team huddles and support continuous improvement
- Stop production when safety or food quality is at risk
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and make production decisions
Comfortable working around grain dust and in non-climate-controlled environments - Able to climb stairs/ladders and work across multiple mill levels
- Able to lift, push, pull, and perform physical job duties
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability
- Steady full-time hours with a 4 on / 4 off schedule
