Senior Manager, Commerce Strategy

• Own the day-to-day commerce strategy for accounts, including annual growth plans, promotional calendars, go-to-market plans and product launch plans
• Design advertising strategy with Advertising Managers, including budget allocation, bidding and targeting across Amazon advertising products
• Partner on catalog and detail page health, retail readiness, pricing, promotions, inventory and supply chain considerations
• Lead daily and weekly client interactions, facilitate meetings, handle requests and share performance details with next steps
• Build and present monthly and quarterly business reviews connecting advertising and retail performance to commercial outcomes
• Analyze Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, consoles and measurement platform data to identify growth opportunities
• Create and maintain sales and inventory forecasts and flag revenue or delivery risks
• Support negotiations and joint business planning with Amazon and other retail partners
• Help resolve operational, logistical and business escalations
• Coordinate with account, advertising, content, Investment and Data & Measurement teams as the internal client champion
• Use AI-enabled tools for research, competitive and category analysis, planning and reporting
• Mentor junior team members and help onboard new clients and vendors
• Implement process improvements and scalability initiatives across the Commerce practice
• Package learnings into case studies, best practices and client-facing points of view
• Contribute to the Media Strategy department and agency culture

• 5+ years of relevant experience in commerce, retail media, retail operations or business management/consulting, with a proven track record of delivering results
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central
• Experience with promotion planning, pricing, inventory management and retailer negotiations
• Highly analytical, able to create targeted recommendations from raw data
• Demonstrated ability to present to and earn the trust of senior leaders, and to build and manage relationships across client and retailer organizations
• A self-starter who manages multiple projects at once with very high standards for your work
• Comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment: figuring it out and adapting as you go
• Comfortable with data analysis and eager to adopt AI-enabled ways of working
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to support and mentor team members, and the desire to grow as a leader
• BA or equivalent with emphasis on marketing, advertising, or business
• Occasional travel required

Demonstrates expertise in commerce strategy, including advertising and promotional planning, while leveraging data analysis and AI-enabled tools to drive growth and operational efficiency. Proven ability to build relationships and present insights to senior leaders, alongside mentoring team members and implementing process improvements.
