RN Operating Room Float Pool

Enterprise Float Pool – Full Time, 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period, 2 weeks)

Days

$38.91 – $60.31 per hour, dependent on experience.

• Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of operating room nursing (RN) experience
  * or* completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) – CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; card must be valid for 60 days of hire.

• Provide top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
• Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
• Welcome new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Deliver direct care in perioperative settings, including PACU and operating room levels of care.
• Adhere to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards.
• Receive support and guidance from Clinical Educators for individualized specialty education and competency validation.
