Family First Homecare (FFHC) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high‑quality, in‑home nursing care to pediatric patients. In this vital role you will provide comprehensive nursing services, adhere strictly to FFHC policies, the State Nurse Practice Acts, and all applicable State and Federal regulations. You will join a dedicated team that supports one another and is committed to professional growth, offering comprehensive training and 24/7 support from leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Accountable for providing care that is based on licensure and certification within the scope of practice
- Maintain an updated clinical record for each patient at all times, meeting required documentation deadlines
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services to the patient and family on an ongoing basis
- Consult with physicians concerning alterations of patient care plans and report all changes to the nurse supervisor
- Support FFHC’s mission by mentoring or coaching new employees during patient‑specific orientations
- Educate patients and their caregivers on topics related to patient care needs
- Participate in FFHC Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program (QAPI) as requested
- Continuously strive to improve nursing care skills
- Attend and complete all mandatory training and in‑services as assigned
- Submit required personnel file documentation in a timely manner
- Adhere to FFHC compliance and ethics expectations
- Maintain patient and family confidentiality
- Maintain professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
- The ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Work is performed in patients’ homes, typically without substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions; training may be performed in an office setting
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs) without an assisted lifting device
- Frequent use of office machines, including telephone, computer, and printer

Some roles at Family First Homecare have a corresponding compensation plan that may include a bonus based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
DETAILS
This role requires traveling to patients’ homes to deliver care. The work schedule may include varying shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours) and may require availability on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday.

QUALIFICATIONS- RN/LPN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered RN/LPN License in the state of employment or Multi‑State license recognized under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
- At least one year of demonstrated experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in‑person instructor‑led, hands‑on skills check
- Clear Hepatitis B screening in applicable states
- Clear TB screening in applicable states
