Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for patients of all ages. Functions in a structured care setting and adheres to the policies and procedures established by Sanford.

Compensation: Salary Range: $23.00 - $31.50

Flexibility: Ability to select your own shifts
Minimum call shifts: 5 call shifts and 1 work shift in a 9‑week schedule.
Job Description- Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Perform nursing assessments and analyze data reflective of the patient's status to determine individualized care requirements.
- Provide patient care and treatment within the scope of nursing practice, including medication administration and monitoring.
- Document care accurately and maintain up‑to‑date patient records.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and state regulatory rules.
- Recognize and apply the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- For positions requiring IV therapy/management skills in North Dakota, hold a graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Maintain an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or possess multi‑state licensure privileges.
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
- Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
