Job Title: Director of Nursing

Location: Fallon, NV

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (with potential for bonuses, total annual income between $150k - $170k)

Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Director of Nursing (DON) with an active Nevada RN license to lead our nursing team. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise, training, and guidance to ensure our facility meets and exceeds industry standards. You will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and driving clinical excellence.

• Clinical Training &
  
  Education:
  
  Provide ongoing clinical training and education to nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Evaluate nursing competencies and uphold high standards of care.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Ensure impeccable regulatory compliance within the facility. Develop and implement policies to mitigate risk and educate staff accordingly.
• Policy Development:
  Revise and update protocols to align with emerging clinical best practices. Develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, and policies for quality care.
• Quality Assurance:
  Participate in Quality Assurance (QA), Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), and psychotropic meetings. Audit facility documentation and make recommendations for improvement.
• Facility Management:
  Oversee the nursing department’s operations to ensure effective functioning and adherence to state and federal requirements. Maintain survey readiness at all times.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required;
  Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a long-term care setting.
• Licensure:
  Active RN license in the state of Nevada.
• Skills:
  
  Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
