WEEKEND Med Surg RN Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients. Cares for medical‑surgical and pediatric patients.
• Integrates policies, procedures, standards, and healthcare provider orders to carry out quality patient care.
• May include opportunities for advancement to Charge Nurse if positive and effective leadership skills are demonstrated.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a RN in the State of Iowa or a compact state. Certification in Basic Life Support and preferably Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

• At least one year of hospital experience as an RN preferred but not required.

Applicant must pass background check, drug screen and health assessment including applicable vaccinations prior to hire.

• 1) 2 out of 3 weekends. Works 2 weekends, receives 3rd weekend off. Benefits include 401(k) and PTO. Employee is not eligible for other hospital sponsored benefits.
• 2) 5 out of 6 weekends. Works 5 weekends, receives 6th weekend off. Eligible for ALL hospital sponsored benefits, including 401(k), PTO, health, vision, dental, disability and life insurance.
• 3) All Weekends. Works all weekends. Eligible for ALL hospital sponsored benefits, including 401(k), PTO, health, vision, dental, disability and life insurance.
