As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for overseeing the health and well‑being of residents, implementing care plans, and providing expert nursing care in a collaborative environment.

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status, including physical, mental, and emotional well‑being.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on health needs and goals.
• Monitor health conditions, document changes, and communicate findings to physicians and team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other advanced treatments as required.
• Perform routine medical procedures such as vitals, injections, dressings according to protocols.

• Supervise and support nursing staff including CNAs and LPNs, ensuring efficient delivery of care.
• Provide guidance and training to ensure compliance with facility protocols.
• Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with leadership to maintain optimal resident care.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team for clear updates.
• Educate residents and families on care plans, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Work closely with physicians, dietitians, social workers and others to coordinate care.

• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date medical records in compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and state/federal regulations.
• Participate in care audits and quality improvement processes.

• Respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring appropriate care and intervention.
• Provide immediate interventions and stabilize residents in critical situations.

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Iowa.
• CPR and First Aid certification (obtained upon hire if not held).
• Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred.
• Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in long‑term, skilled, or geriatric care.
• Experience in supervisory roles and leadership is a plus.
