Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC–GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Up to a $15,000 sign‑on bonus is available to eligible candidates upon hire, subject to program terms.
Responsibilities- Provide urgent care clinical services to patients across all age groups, from newborn to adult.
- Perform minor procedures, including suturing, casting, and splinting.
- Read and interpret preliminary EKGs and X‑rays.
- Collaborate with on‑site radiology technicians and medical assistants as part of a clinical team.
- Manage patient care through shared decision‑making and problem‑solving.
- Adhere to scheduling programs designed to promote wellness, efficiency, and safe care.
- State‑of‑the‑art centers equipped with EPIC EMR, point‑of‑care testing, and on‑site X‑ray.
- Clean, well‑maintained healthcare settings ranked among the nation’s best.
- Scheduling flexibility, including Monday‑through‑Friday shifts and limited on‑call availability.
- Primary anchor/home center with secondary centers nearby for team members.

- Minimum of 1 year full‑time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years in Urgent Care; 2 years in Family Medicine considered.
- Comfortable performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and preliminary reads of EKGs and X‑rays.
- Experience treating patients newborn and up in an acute care setting.
- Physician Assistants must hold a Master’s degree and NCCPA certification.
- Nurse Practitioners must hold a Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP certification.
