The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Center is looking for talented and hard-working LPN's to join our team. Our mission is to promote and maintain each individual's highest level of independence and health in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Our staff adheres to the highest medical practice standards.

Our facility has 158 beds and a state‑of‑the‑art Rehabilitation Gym servicing 60+ short‑term beds. This setting provides excellent opportunities for learning and growth.

• Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel assigned to a specific shift.
• Communicates and applies policies, practices, procedures, objectives, and goals necessary for attainment of excellent resident care.

• Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State.
• Possess clinical knowledge and skill in nursing practices and regulatory standards.
• Team player, cooperative with co‑workers of all disciplines.
• Able to function both under supervision and independently, when situations warrant.
• Communicate tactfully and effectively with physicians, supervisors, staff and other disciplines.
• Assume unit leadership role in the absence of the Unit Manager.
• Pro‑active in seeking interventions for resident care and services and performs duties with thoughtfulness, timeliness, knowledge and skill within the scope of license.
• Flexible to special staffing or clinical situations which may require deviations from the usual work pattern.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of resident information.
• Maintain control of access to medications.
• Computer literate and possess strong organizational skills.

7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., or 11 p.m.–7 a.m.; must be able to work every other weekend.

Up to $42 an hour.
