About The JobAs a registered nurse, you will provide nursing care for medical and surgical patients, ensuring safety, quality, and continuity of care. You will direct and guide patient teaching, support ancillary personnel, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate with therapy services and the provider team to deliver multidisciplinary care. The role also may float to the Emergency Room and Outpatient Treatment Center as directed by the Acute Care Nursing Director.

Position type: PRN, Work as needed.
Pay:
Starts at $32.49 for ADN and $33.49 for BSN; increases with experience.
Shift: Sunday–Saturday, weekends, and holidays.
Position Qualifications- Education
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
- Special Skills & Aptitudes
- Maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- ER – ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required.
- Med/Surg/OTC – ACLS and PALS required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of customer‑relations principles.
- Demonstrates nursing competency for assigned unit and population.
- Basic computer skills.
- Completion of a telemetry course within one year of hire.
- Must obtain mandatory reporting credentials for child and dependent abuse.
