Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) needed to join our clinician group in West Union, Iowa. The role is split between Family Medicine and Orthopedics and involves clinic‑based care Monday‑Friday during daytime hours. Work is performed under direct supervision with written protocols, direct consultation for un‑protocol emergencies, and countersignature of prescriptions and documentation.

• Provide primary care and orthopedic services in a full‑service clinic setting.
• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Assist or perform routine diagnostic studies and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain accurate, patient‑oriented clinical records and submit required billing and documentation in compliance with E‑M coding guidelines.
• Follow written protocols and seek supervisory input for situations not covered by protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance reviews, and continuing education as required.
• Adhere to all HIPAA privacy and security policies and protect patient confidentiality.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and complete annual competency skills reviews.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• NCCPA certified (PA) or equivalent Nurse Practitioner certification and eligible for state licensure.
• Ability to apply logic, evidence‑based medicine, and innovative patient care practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to quality patient care.
• Ready to work overnight or on-call as needed within the clinic schedule.
