GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Neurology for a travel nursing job in Cumming, Georgia.

- Employment Type: Travel RN, On‑site neuro nursing role
- Contract: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)
- Location: Cumming, GA 30041, near Lake Lanier
- Setting: Acute Neuro Unit (Neuro ICU / Neuroscience unit)
- Guaranteed Pay: $1,460 – $1,540 per week (competitive travel RN pay)
- Minimum 2 years of acute neuro nursing experience (Neuro RN, Neuroscience RN, Neuro ICU preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
- Strong clinical skills in neurological assessment, telemetry monitoring, and stroke care protocols
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to variable schedules typical of travel nurse assignments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient‑centered care in acute neuro settings
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Acute Neuro Unit, including stroke, neurotrauma, and other neurological conditions
- Perform frequent neurological assessments and monitor changes in status using NIH Stroke Scale and unit protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring safe medication management for neuro patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (neurosurgery, neurology, therapists, pharmacy) to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, discharge planning, and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to unit policies, and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care
