Job Description
Worksite: On-site
Position: Full-time
Location: Reno, Nevada
Responsibilities- Provide nephrology care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and dialysis.
- Conduct telemedicine clinics, inpatient consultations, and rounding.
- Follow VHA kidney health policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of 6 months of nephrology experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Completion of VA-required training, including Privacy, HIPAA, and Military Sexual Trauma.
- Ability to be credentialed and privileged by VHA.
- Compliance with infection control measures, including tuberculosis testing and annual flu vaccination.
