Location:

Las Vegas, NV (within a 2‑hour radius for patient visits)

Employee Type: PRN

Pay Range: $45–$55 per hour (DOE, includes door‑to‑door travel + $0.48 per mile)

Working Hours:

5–10+ hours per week, depending on availability.

Licensed Registered Nurses (RN) will partner with pharmacists, clinicians, and business professionals to deliver specialty pharmacy services to patients with chronic and rare illnesses in a home setting.
This opportunity is a PRN role that does not have a guaranteed schedule but may range up to 5‑10 hours plus per week.

• Administer specialty medications via IV, subcutaneous injections, or other prescribed methods; monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform patient assessment: review medical history, allergies, current medications, and vital signs before, during, and after infusions.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, potential side‑effects, and emergency management; provide instructions for home care.
• Continuously monitor patients during and after infusions; schedule follow‑up calls or visits and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate infusion records, including patient responses, adverse events, and education given, in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing team, pharmacists, and other staff to coordinate treatment and communicate any concerns to the clinical nurse supervisor.
• Prepare and handle medications following safety standards; verify correct drug and dosage for each patient.
• Ensure sterile techniques and infection‑control guidelines are followed during infusion and preparation.
• Manage inventory levels of specialty medications and infusion supplies; coordinate with pharmacy team to maintain adequate stock.
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes related to specialty medications.
• Document all infusion‑related activities as required by CSI policies.

• Participate in CSI’s Immunoglobulin Mentorship Program as required.
• Serve as an IgCN mentor to new or transferring nursing staff; provide coaching, guidance, and professional support.
• Assist with training activities, review educational materials, infusion protocols, and patient care standards.
• Review competency checklists, orientation materials, and training records; conduct direct observations of clinical practice.
• Document mentorship activities, observations, and competency assessments in accordance with CSI policies.

• College degree, certification, or equivalent experience.
• RN: minimum 2 years (required); ER/ICU/Infusion: 1 year preferred.
• Experience accessing PIV lines, ports, and maintaining PICC lines: 1 year (required).
• Infusion experience in hospital or home health: 1 year preferred.
• Successful completion of a drug screen (including medical and recreational marijuana) prior to employment.
