Licensed Practical Nurse Travel Assignment
This role is a 13-week travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Dubuque, Iowa, providing skilled nursing or long-term care services. The position offers a flexible schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week with guaranteed 36 hours and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care and monitor vital signs in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
- Respond to patient emergencies and provide timely interventions
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Iowa
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to complete required background screening and drug testing
