Job Summary

Madrid Home seeks a caring Registered Nurse (RN) to join our award‑winning team, providing detailed resident care in a supportive environment.

• Effectively communicate resident needs with physicians and supervisors
• Complete resident assessments as required and supervise LPNs in data gathering
• Maintain awareness of the condition of all residents under your care
• Accurately administer all medications, treatments, and physician orders, taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on special problems of care, resident transfers, and workload management
• Coordinate preparation and planning of resident admissions, recognizing family and others’ contributions to nursing care
• Provide emotional and physical comfort and safety for residents, and emotional support to families
• Supervise, assist, consult with, and teach certified nursing assistants

• Graduate of a state board‑approved nursing school
• Currently licensed in Iowa
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required (hourly position)
• Exceptional attendance record
