Overview
Madrid Home is seeking a caring Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who will truly love what they do and join our award‑winning team. - Provide care to residents under the supervision of a nurse and the support of your team.
- Assist with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, toileting, walking, and exercising.
- Help with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned tasks.
- Promptly respond to residents' calls for assistance and deliver compassionate care that aligns with their individual care plan.
- Chart resident interactions throughout the shift and communicate effectively with team members.
- Ensure that residents' rights are respected and protected.
- Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
- For CMA applicants: must possess a current active certification to practice as a Certified Medication Aide in Iowa.
- Experience or ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
- Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred but not required.
