We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa. This position requires a strong emergency nursing background and the ability to work independently in a Critical Access Hospital environment. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
, with coverage required every third weekend and every third holiday. Candidates must have 3+ years of ER nursing experience
, as the department staffs only one ER nurse per shift.
Critical Access Hospital experience is required.
Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS
. The RN will provide emergency nursing care, assess and monitor patients, respond to changing clinical conditions, collaborate with providers and healthcare staff, and maintain safe patient care standards.
Cerner experience is also required. Candidates should be confident working independently, comfortable managing a range of emergency presentations, and able to make appropriate clinical decisions in a smaller hospital setting. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced ER RN with strong critical access experience and the required certifications.
