Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Infinity Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care. Our providers deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. You will:
- Provide primary care and/or urgent/walk-in services across the lifespan
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver preventive care, including wellness exams, screenings, and immunizations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Promote healthy behaviors through patient education and counseling
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated, whole-person care
- Participate in value-based care and population health initiatives
- Contribute to clinical quality improvement and peer review activities

Key responsibilities include:
- Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer patients as needed
- Participate in after-hours coverage and shared on-call rotation
- Conduct nursing home rounds as applicable
- Engage in quality improvement and peer review activities
- Precept students as opportunities arise
- Attend organizational meetings and ongoing education sessions
Qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure (or eligibility) in the State of Iowa
- Active DEA license
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Prior clinical experience preferred (community health experience a plus)
