Position: RN / LPN

Good Samaritan Health Center in Atlanta seeks a compassionate RN or LPN to provide primary care nursing in a mission-driven, faith-based clinic serving underserved individuals and families. Responsibilities include rooming patients, assessments, vitals, immunizations, medication administration, care coordination, patient education, and accurate EHR documentation. The nurse collaborates closely with providers, behavioral health, dental, and wellness teams to deliver holistic, whole-person care while upholding infection control standards and supporting health equity in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care including assessments, vitals, and medication administration in an outpatient primary care setting
  • Support providers with exams, treatments, procedures, and care coordination for diverse patient populations
  • Administer immunizations, perform basic wound care, and follow evidence-based clinical protocols
  • Document all care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Educate patients and families on chronic disease management, medications, and preventive care
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with medical, dental, behavioral health, and wellness teams
  • Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in all clinical areas
  • Participate in case conferences, huddles, and quality improvement initiatives focused on health equity
  • Support mission-driven, faith-based, holistic care for underserved individuals and families
  • Contribute to a collaborative, compassionate, and culturally sensitive team environment
