- Help the Health and Wellness Director oversee nursing and caregiving staff, including scheduling and daily support.
- Assist with new resident assessments, routine evaluations, and updates to care plans.
- Ensure clinical documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Take part in medication management and auditing.
- Support infection control, safety, and compliance efforts.
- Be a resource for staff on care procedures and communication standards.
- Help coordinate communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Provide leadership coverage when the Health and Wellness Director is away.
- Assist with training new staff and supporting ongoing education.
- Help maintain staffing levels and positive team relations.
- Assist with audits, surveys, and inspections.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
- Active LPN license in the state of Iowa (Required)
- Prior experience in nursing leadership or floor supervision (Preferred)
- Prior experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care setting (Preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
