PRN (as needed), daytime hours only and no call requirements.
Fast-paced outpatient surgery environment, collaborative and patient-focused team.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including assessments, medication review, and patient education.
- Monitor patients during the recovery phase and provide post-anesthesia care.
- Assess patient status, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Educate patients and family members regarding preoperative and postoperative care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification, PALS certification
- Previous Pre-Op, PACU, Recovery Room, Ambulatory Surgery, or Critical Care experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
