Hospice Nurse RN - On Call Weekend

Our Hospice Nurse - RNs - go above and beyond by meeting patients and families where they feel most comfortable, whether it's at home, a long-term care community, assisted living residence, or hospital. This personalized approach ensures tailored care that meets their unique needs.

• This is a full-time role that is takes call from Fridays at 4:30PM until 8:00AM on Monday. Some scheduled visits may also be assigned.
• Support patients and families in the time of their greatest need and respond to emergent needs on weekends, evenings and overnight.
• Assist the caregivers and patients, provide meds available and offer teaching to ensure comfort for pain, breathlessness, dying/transitioning or support at the time of death with compassion, integrity, respect, and dignity in all our interactions.

• RN with a minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Demonstrated patience and a supportive and sensitive approach to providing patient, family, and caregiver support.
• Willingness and ability to provide care in facility and patient home settings.
