- Provides direct patient care in all phases of surgery:
Pre-operative, intra-operative, post anesthesia care unit, and post-operative. This position also requires central sterile processing functions. This includes cleaning, preparing/packaging of instruments, and sterilization of instruments and supplies. - Prepares the operating room for surgery, assists the surgeon as scrub person, and ensures availability, sterility, and safety of all supplies and equipment in Surgery and Central Supply.
Work 3 days a week, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, varied.

Requirements Educational/Experience:
- Current Iowa licensure as a Registered Nurse
- ACLS, BLS, & PALS certification within 6 months
- Mandatory Reporter certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
- Preferred experience/knowledge: 1 year RN, scrubbing, AORN standards
