Trillium Staffing is now seeking Quality Inspectors in Eldridge, IA on 3rd shift!
Pay rate is $26.00 – $27.00 per hour. Schedule is 3rd shift, 11pm-7:15am, Sunday night - Thursday night. Any mandatory overtime will be scheduled on Fridays.

The Quality Inspector assists in developing and executing quality inspections on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions. Additionally, the Quality Inspector will train and develop production and quality team members in the operation of all metrology equipment utilized by the company.
Responsibilities- Execute, oversee, and ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct ongoing quality inspections on standard and routine processes and products using engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain control, protection, and proper usage of company assets and precision tools.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for new Quality Inspectors.
- Train production and quality team members on the proper use of metrology equipment.
- Maintain active communication with the Quality Assurance Manager, Engineering, and Production Supervisors to ensure alignment on immediate issues affecting output and product quality.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections of production parts.
- Verify calibration status of inspection gauges and tools prior to production runs.
- Perform routine calibration of precision inspection devices.
- Audit production packets to verify all required data, forms, and documentation are complete and actively used during inspections.
- Inspect, record, and maintain logs for non-conforming materials.
- Author and maintain the Cause and Corrective Action Report (CAPA) log.
- Ensure all equipment calibration records remain updated and compliant.
- Monitor and maintain environmental/temperature log records in the quality lab.
- Coordinate quality inspection efforts across shifts to ensure seamless handoffs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- - Experience:
5 to 7 years of quality assurance inspection experience in a high-precision machining environment, including hands-on experience operating CMMs and calibrating precision inspection equipment. - -Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- -Computer literacy sufficient to access, complete, and manage quality documentation and digital forms.
- -Occasionally required to lift up to 35 lbs. Frequently required to lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., moving parts from storage or positioning components in/out of the work area).
