Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift; Onsite

Job Summary

Location: RIVER, DECORAH, IA, USA

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00PM – 10:00PM

• Operate automated welding machines, automated wire stretching, stringing ceramics, immersion testing, and related tasks once trained and/or certified.
• Inspect own work to ensure quality, workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications are met.
• Maintain productivity to meet customer deadlines.
• Comply with Raytheon Technologies rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements.
• Participate in cost reduction plans, continuous improvement plans/events, audits, and trainings as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report progress to the lead or supervisor.
• Complete additional assigned tasks within the scope and skill level of this job description.

Must Have:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical education related to manufacturing.

• Manufacturing experience.
• Career Readiness Certification (CRC).
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and safety rules.
• Ability to follow assembly instructions and work under repetitive job conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

• Intermediate computer skills for typing, navigating screens, and learning new software.
