The Iron Horse Neighborhood Grill is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team!

This is more than just a "keep the kitchen running" job. We're looking for someone who wants to lead, build a team, improve systems, and take ownership of the kitchen as we expand into our next chapter.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Leading day-to-day kitchen operations
• Training, coaching, and developing kitchen staff
• Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Managing prep, ordering, inventory, and product rotation
• Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
• Managing kitchen labor and food costs
• Creating a positive, accountable kitchen culture
• Helping develop specials and seasonal menu items
• Keeping the kitchen organized, clean, and efficient
• Working alongside your team during busy services
• Communicating with the front-of-house team and restaurant management
• Helping us continue to improve and grow our operation

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has previous kitchen or restaurant management experience

• Knows how to lead a team — not just give orders

• Can stay calm when the rush hits

• Takes pride in consistency and attention to detail

• Understands food safety and kitchen organization

• Is dependable and willing to work alongside the team

• Can hold people accountable while maintaining a positive environment

• Takes ownership and looks for solutions instead of excuses

• Wants to be part of a growing local restaurant
