Engine Parts Associate

Blain's Farm & Fleet is seeking a Small Engine Parts Associate to help customers find the right parts for mowers, snow blowers, and outdoor power equipment. In this on-site retail role, you'll greet customers, look up and identify parts using catalogs and computer systems, and process sales, returns, and special orders. You'll keep parts displays and stock areas organized, support inventory accuracy, and coordinate with service teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting small engine parts for mowers, snow blowers, and power equipment
• Look up parts using catalogs and computer systems to ensure accurate matches
• Maintain organized, well-stocked parts displays and backroom inventory
• Process sales, returns, and special orders accurately at the register or parts counter
• Inspect returned parts for correctness and condition per company policies
• Coordinate with service/repair teams and other departments to locate or order parts
• Provide basic product information, usage guidance, and compatibility checks
• Follow all safety, loss prevention, and cash-handling procedures
• Support store merchandising, pricing, and promotional displays in the parts area
• Participate in training and development to improve product knowledge and customer service
