Assistant Manager - Galleria at Sunset, Hollister

The Assistant Manager is a multi‑faceted role that merges business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management. In this role you will drive sales results, oversee daily store operations, build and maintain visual displays, and grow through a promote‑from‑within philosophy.

• Perform opening and closing routines.
• Supervise sales floor and stockroom to ensure excellent customer service and seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing, scheduling, and payroll management.
• Train and develop non‑management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets and perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill omni‑channel orders.
• Represent the brand and exemplify company culture and values.

• Bachelor’s degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Strong customer focus, knowledge of current fashion trends, and a drive to achieve results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
• Ability to coach others, demonstrate confidence, and take initiative.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to balance multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.

Starting rate: $20.75 per hour. (Recruiting pay range: $20.75–$20.75 per hour. Rate and range may be modified in the future.)
