Position: Spring Jr. Executive Sales Intern - Las Vegas
Location: Nevada

The Paycom Junior Executive Internship is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world exposure to the many skills that contribute to success within a fast-paced sales office. Students will gain hands‑on, real‑life business training and experience to broaden their understanding of sales techniques, research strategies, and the behind‑the‑scenes responsibilities necessary to bring our industry‑leading product to market.

Hourly rate: $24.00. Interns are not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in extensive sales training, including pre‑call planning, analysis, and presentation preparation.
  • Prospect potential new clients in weekly prospecting sessions.
  • Manage inbound phone calls from companies wanting to discuss the Paycom solution.
  • Create quotes using our database for leads coming in from potential clients.
  • Work collaboratively with your office sales manager, intern program manager, and team of sales representatives to observe a deal through the entire sales cycle.
  • Track all prospecting, leads, meetings, and daily tasks.
  • Participate in professional development and sales trainings presented weekly.
  • Travel to the local Paycom sales office and surrounding areas for in‑person sales meetings requiring reliable transportation.

Locations:

Qualifications Education/Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience Summer
  • Rising Senior (within two semesters of graduating or less) majoring in an area of business with proven academic success.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Spring
  • Current Senior majoring in an area of business with proven academic success.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours/week for the Summer Program, 20 hours/week for the Spring Program.
  • Demonstrate a passion for sales, including outside or inside sales opportunities.
  • Convey knowledge of a CRM; preferred.
  • Be a self‑starter and have demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate research and analytical skills.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle, type, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
