Sales Representative - Flooring Solutions

Job Overview

Join Sunbelt Rentals as an Outside Sales Representative – Flooring Solutions. In this role you will generate profitable business from equipment specialized to our flooring solutions profit center, develop your assigned territory, implement sales plans, maintain the current customer base, and help build the national Sunbelt brand.

• Generate new business and maintain existing relationships with commercial and residential customers in a defined territory.
• Develop and execute territory sales strategy, including prospecting, appointments, estimates and proposals.
• Support existing accounts with product knowledge, equipment recommendations and project solutions.
• Participate in marketing and promotional events to increase brand visibility.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or concrete surface prep and polishing industry.
• Prior sales experience is a plus.
• Strong solution‑selling approach and project management skills.
• Proven ability to develop new business and retain existing customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors and indoors, with the ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and reaching.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (company vehicle provided).

Base pay range: $40,000.00 – $62,965.00 per year. Total compensation includes a company vehicle and a robust commission plan. Starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
