Terra Clear applies artificial intelligence, robotics, and world-class mechanical design to solve some of the most data‑deficient and labor‑intensive jobs on the farm. These technologies are rapidly transforming agricultural intelligence, allowing farmers to make faster and more informed decisions that translate into highly precise actions and more productive farms. Our first application solved one of the most disliked tasks on the farm: clearing rocks.

The annual emergence of news rocks impacts nearly half of farms in North America, slowing farming, damaging equipment, and causing downtime during seeding and harvesting. Solving this problem frees farmers to focus on higher‑value tasks and brings their operations into a new era of farming.

Leveraging our commercial success in rocks, we are now expanding our core technologies to new farm applications including the precise management of weeds, pests, disease and overall plant health.

Location: Regional / Field‑based
Travel: Up to 2–3 weeks per month
Compensation: Base salary $75,000–$90,000 USD + commission

About the Role

Terra Clear is seeking a Regional Account Manager to build strong, trusted relationships with Growers and Resellers while driving revenue growth across the assigned territory. This is a field‑based role focused on in‑person customer engagement, solution‑based selling, and long‑term account development within the Agriculture Industry.

The ideal candidate is a proven Ag Sales Professional who thrives in a fast‑moving start‑up environment, understands farming operations, and is comfortable selling innovative technology‑driven solutions.

What You’ll Do Sales & Business Development
  • Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and existing industry relationships
  • Identify, research, and qualify potential customers within your assigned territory
  • Conduct face‑to‑face meetings to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions
  • Articulate the features, benefits, and value proposition of Terra Clear’s products, including:
  • Mapping solutions
  • Picking Services
  • Autonomous imaging technology
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, including pricing, contracts, purchase orders, and customized solutions
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with Growers, Resellers, and Industry Partners
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding customer operations and business challenges
  • Represent Terra Clear with professionalism and credibility across the agricultural community
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Inside Sales and Product Development) to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Provide regular customer feedback to inform sales strategy, forecasting, and product development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication using Terra Clear systems (Smartsheet, Hub Spot, Google Docs, Slack)
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in agriculture, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
  • 5+ years of agriculture industry experience with strong knowledge of local territories
  • Demonstrated success selling agricultural products
  • Established relationships within Grower and Reseller communities
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving environment
  • Strong organizational skills with a commitment to documentation and clear communication
  • Independent, self‑motivated self‑starter with high activity levels
  • Willingness to travel up to 2–3 weeks per month
