Position OverviewThe Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in supporting the company’s sales pipeline. This is a hands-on, in-office role where the right candidate will learn how custom manufacturing sales actually works—from customer outreach and opportunity development to quoting and project coordination.
This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is competitive, curious, and interested in building a long-term career in sales or business development.
Key Responsibilities Lead Development- Identify and research potential customers in target industries
- Conduct outreach through phone, email, and Linked In
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities for the sales team
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers
- Gather basic technical requirements for projects
- Coordinate with internal teams to move opportunities forward
- Assist with quoting and proposal preparation
- Track opportunities and customer interactions in CRM
- Maintain organized records of prospects and active opportunities
- Monitor industry activity and identify new opportunities
- Help build targeted prospect lists and outreach campaigns
- Support marketing initiatives and customer follow-ups
Within the first 6–12 months, the SDR will:
- Develop a strong understanding of our products and manufacturing capabilities
- Build a consistent pipeline of new sales opportunities
- Support the sales team in converting opportunities into orders
- Become a trusted internal resource for prospect development
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- Internship or early experience in sales, business development, or customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Competitive and self-motivated
- Curious and eager to learn
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable speaking with new people
