What You’ll Do
As an Ambulatory Care Account Executive, you’ll own a specified Nevada territory and be responsible for driving sales of medical products and services to ambulatory care providers. You’ll work directly with customers, uncover their needs, and deliver solutions that improve patient care and practice efficiency.
- Build and grow relationships with new and existing customers.
- Execute strategic sales plans to exceed gross profit goals.
- Promote a wide range of products, from lab and surgical supplies to McKesson’s own branded solutions.
- Collaborate with internal specialists across lab, pharmacy, and technology to deliver a full-service experience.
- Spend the majority of your time in the field, meeting customers face‑to‑face.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- A valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
- Compliance with a 7‑year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check as part of McKesson’s background screening.
- Experience managing a large product portfolio (many SKUs).
- Proven ability to build long‑term customer relationships.
- Strong collaboration skills in a team‑based selling environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% within the territory (day travel only).
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling to physician offices, labs, or healthcare providers.
- Experience presenting to C‑suite decision‑makers.
- Experience managing gross profit and margin performance.
- Experience selling value‑based solutions and technology platforms.
- 4‑year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position: $151,000 - $604,000. Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
